R.K. Nayak, chairman of the Power Grid Corporation of India, told reporters at a new conference in the capital that the problem was difficult to pinpoint given the network’s complexity, but that he hoped to see the system up and running by midnight.
“Some sections might have caused tripping but it is difficult to give you anything at this time,” he added.
By early evening, power officials were reporting that around 40% of the system was operating normally again.
The massive outage -- billed as one of the world’s largest, affecting half of India's 1.2 billion people -- occurred soon after the northern grid was powered back up after a 15-hour failure Monday, only to collapse again shortly after 1 p.m. Tuesday That tripped the eastern and northeastern grids in quick succession, leaving much of the country in the dark and the capital with 1% of its usual electricity supply.
Nearly twice as many people were affected by Tuesday’s failure as were without power Monday.
As the outage spread, state officials stepped up their finger-pointing, accusing neighboring states of taking more than their allocated share of power, even as opposition politicians slammed the government for mismanagement and policy paralysis.
“This lowers the esteem of the country in the eyes of the world,” said Prakash Javadekar, a spokesman with the opposition Bharatiya Janata Party. “The country is suffering.”
As the Delhi Metro ground to a halt, passengers in the capital were forced to clamber down from rail cars and walk or wait until emergency power allowed trains to reach the nearest station. Some 350 trains were affected nationwide.
“This has been a big worry,” said Shobha Agrawal, 49, reached by telephone on a train from Chandigarh to Mathura that usually takes eight hours but had already been delayed for several more. “And my son’s very anxious back at home since I’m traveling alone.”
While major airports and larger hospitals switched to backup generators, smaller hospitals and clinics were forced to postpone medical procedures or make do with ambient light as even bigger ones struggled.
“We are facing a lot of problems,” said Harish Chawla, a manager at Delhi’s Holy Angel Hospital, which does have backup power. “You can’t trust generators to keep running dependably for 10 or 12 hours. We had to reschedule a surgery since it was risky to go ahead. And patients don’t want to risk an operation anyway during a power failure.”
As many as 200 coal miners working at the Eastern Coal Fields mines in West Bengal state were stranded underground when power needed to operate the pulley system went out.
“We are trying to rescue the coal miners,” Mamata Banerjee told reporters in the state capital, Kolkata. “You need power supplies to run the lifts in the underground mines."
Company officials said they had advised miners to move to a location within the mines where there was sufficient ventilation and were trying to get food and water to the men, adding that they were in no immediate danger.
This second disaster in rapid succession -- despite promises by power officials Monday that the problem was fixed -- underscores India’s weak infrastructure and crisis-management systems and the nation’s struggle to satisfy the needs of its increasingly affluent population and growing industry.
Rolling blackouts are common in Indian cities given an aging grid and a 9% electricity shortfall at peak periods, so many houses and companies have backup generators. But the collapse of an entire grid is rare, with the last such failure involving the northern grid occurring in 2001.
Richa Hingorani, who works for a civic group in Delhi, said she figured it was the usual one- or two-hour interruption when electricity first cut out around 2:30 a.m. Monday. But as temperatures rose inside their house, family members became increasingly anxious, fanning themselves for four hours with newspapers until dawn broke.
As Hingorani set off for work, things only got worse.
“With bumper-to-bumper traffic, it took me 40 minutes to travel a distance that should’ve taken 10 minutes,” she said. “Work at the office has suffered. There’s no Internet, and little respite when you leave the office since there are so many crowds.”
The government announced after the first grid failure that it was appointing a three-member panel to study the causes and submit a report within 15 days.
At a sometimes-tense House hearing, Medicare Chief Information Officer Tony Trenkle assured lawmakers that the issue is a priority but couldn't offer a timetable for when the change might be made.
Congressional auditors said in a report Wednesday that an earlier cost estimate of $800 million to $845 million was faulty, partly because of insufficient and inconsistent data.

Geo-engineers are finally coming out of the "chemtrail" closet, as reports are now emerging about deliberate plans in the works to dump untold tons of sulfate chemicals into the atmosphere for the purported purpose of fighting so-called "global warming."
The U.K.'s Guardian and others are reporting that a multi-million dollar research fund, which just so happens to have been started and funded by Microsoft founder and vaccine enthusiast Bill Gates, is being used to fund the project. A large balloon hovering at 80,000 feet over Fort Sumner, New Mexico, will release the sulfates into the atmosphere within the next year.
The stated purpose for this massive release of toxic sulfate particles is that doing so will allegedly reflect sunlight back into the atmosphere, and thus cool the planet. But many environmental groups and advocates of common sense are decrying the idea as dangerous, and one that could result in permanent damage to ecosystems all across the globe.
"Impacts include the potential for further damage to the ozone layer, and disruption of rainfall, particularly in tropical and subtropical regions, potentially threatening the food supplies of billions of people," said Pat Mooney, Executive Director of the ETC Group, a Canadian environmental protection group.
"It will do nothing to decrease levels of greenhouse gases in the atmosphere or halt ocean acidification. And solar geo-engineering is likely to increase the risk of climate-related international conflict, given that the modeling to date shows it poses greater risks to the global south."
But the Gates-backed cohort is persistent in its efforts to geo-graffiti the world, as its scientists insist that governments are not doing enough to fight back against the supposed environment impacts of global warming. If governments refuse to implement high enough carbon taxes to eliminate greenhouse gases, in other words, then Gates and Co. believes it has no choice but to "save the planet" by polluting it with sulfate particles.
Spraying the skies with sulfate particles will destroy the planet faster than 'global warming' ever could
Sulfate particles are toxic, though, and constitute the very same type of ambient particulate matter (PM) that the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) considers to be a noxious air pollutant. Deliberately spraying the skies with tiny particles composed of any material, for that matter, is hazardous both to respiratory health in humans and animals, as well as to water sources, soils, and other delicate environmental resources.
"Sulfate particles from acid rain can cause harm to the health of marine life in the rivers and lakes it contaminates, and can result in mortality," says an online water pollution guide (http://www.water-pollution.org.uk/health.html). A University of Washington (UW) report also explains that sulfate particles "contribute to acid rain, cause lung irritation, and have been a main culprit in causing the haze that obscures a clear view of the Grand Canyon."
Blocking the sun with reflective particles will also deprive humans of natural sunlight exposure, which is a primary source for naturally generating health-promoting vitamin D in the body. So once again, Bill Gates is at the helms of a project that seeks to control the climate in artificial ways using toxic chemicals, an endeavor that is sure to create all sorts of potentially irreversible problems for humanity and the planet.
WikiLeaks founder Julian Assange has been granted political asylum by Ecuador, but he remains holed up in the Ecuadorian Embassy in London. If he leaves the compound, he will be arrested and extradited to Sweden, where he faces allegations of sexual assault. Assange denies the allegations and claims they are part of an effort to get him to the United States to face more serious charges related to his work for WikiLeaks. High-profile defenders like Michael Moore and Oliver Stone have recently published editorials in support of Assange. Now, professor and activist Noam Chomsky weighs in.
Julian Assange faces serious accusations from two women in Sweden, yet you've said that any decent country should grant him asylum. Why?
The accusations should be taken quite seriously, just as all such accusations should. Independent of that, no decent country would permit a person to be sent to a country where the chances of his receiving a fair trial are very limited. The apparent conflict can be easily resolved. Sweden claims only that they want to interrogate Assange. They have been invited to do that in England, or in the Ecuadoran Embassy in London. They refuse. They could also issue a statement that they will not extradite Assange to the United States. They refuse.
Suppose that Assange had leaked Russian, rather than American, documents, and the circumstances were otherwise the same. Then Sweden would not hesitate for a moment to question Assange in the United Kingdom and to guarantee that he would not be extradited to Russia. Those who think that this analogy is unfair have something to learn about contemporary history. They can, for example, look at the brutal and criminal treatment of Bradley Manning, to take one of many examples.
It is worth adding that Sweden is quite willing to follow Washington's orders in even worse circumstances than this - for example, when the United States wanted Sweden to send someone to Mubarak's Egypt to be tortured.
According to documents published by WikiLeaks, the Ecuadorian government doesn't support freedom of the press domestically. Is it hypocritical for Assange to accept asylum from such a country?
Of course not, no more than it is hypocritical for him to stay in London, which has a shameful record of violation of freedom of press - of course, targeting weak and defenseless journals, so that it passes without comment. As for the charges against Ecuador, they should be evaluated seriously, just like those against England, France, and others. But it is irrelevant here.
What's at stake here?
At stake is the question of whether the citizens of a country have a right to know what their elected officials are doing. Those who have a lingering affection for an odd notion called "democracy" believe that this is important. To be sure, a state has the right to keep some matters secret. I haven't read all the WikiLeaks exposures, but I have read quite a few, and I have not seen an example of anything that could legitimately be kept secret, nor, to my knowledge, have the horde of angry critics presented an example. I should say that this is not unusual. Anyone who has spent time studying declassified documents is well aware that overwhelmingly, they are kept secret to protect elected officials from the scrutiny of citizens, not for defense or some other legitimate purpose.
Someone who courageously carries out actions in defense of democratic rights deserves applause, not hysterical denunciation and punishment. We understand that very well with regard to official enemies. Since you bring up the matter of "hypocrisy," it is the extreme of hypocrisy to refuse to apply the same standards to ourselves.

Libyan illegal occupation regime officials continue to contradict each other over the details of the abduction of Abdullah Senoussi from Mauritania to Libya. Senoussi resisted his abduction but an unarmed refugee is not match for armed abductors. In efforts to downplay the illegality of the event, which was carried out after financial payments amounting to millions of dollars were made to the private accounts of Mauritanian officials, and additional promises of substantial aid to the government were made.
Abdullah Senoussi along with Sayf al Islam Qadhafi and others such as Musa Kusa, currently in Qatar and cooperating in order to avoid a similar abduction, hold vital information about high-level corruption among not only dozens of African leaders who failed to support the Libyan Jamahiriya last year but who had received millions in cash payments in order to gain support for African Union projects, but also key western leaders notably Britain's former Prime Minister Tony Blair and France's former President Sarkozi.
Both Senoussi and Qadhafi are wanted by the imperialist stooge "International Criminal Court" which specializes in putting any people on its wanted list, who are obstacles in the way of the so-called New World Order banking and resource monopoly elites. The ICC however has no jurisdiction in most countries, including most of Africa, and is not recognized as having any legitimacy by the Libyan Jamahiriya. The illegal occupation regime representing British, French, Italian and U.S. hegemony and theft of Africa's resources and Gulf Arab revenge also does not recognize its jurisdiction.
The reasons for this are to ensure that the ICC is not landed with Qadhafi and Senoussi, and thus world publicity from the Netherlands in Western Europe, which would expose the damning theft of funds and corruption of key western leaders. The occupation regime in Libya has thus been instructed, as revealed by Mathaba sources, to ensure that Sanoussi does not get abducted to the so-called ICC in The Hague, but are given a kangaroo court prosecution in Libya, without international media coverage. Executions, torture and widespread abuse of unlawfully detained prisoners in Libya is now rampant.
Crimes Against Humanity.
One million Libyans, almost a quarter of the population, fled to neighbouring countries during the war of occupation last year, with deaths topping one hundred thousand. Tens of thousands languish in make-shit jails and are held incommunicado from families and without any legal representation. A widespread resistance effort to free political prisoners is ongoing with insecurity rampant across Libya.
Mathaba analysts believe Sayf al-Islam Qadhafi is being held as a reserve card to play in the event that unity may be required in the country which is split along tribal divisions and endless revenge reprisals for the deaths of an estimated 50,000 Libyans at the hands of local outlaws and foreign mercenaries, with another 60,000 estimated to have been killed by the illegal US-European NATO bombings and missile strikes across Libya in violation of their own "no fly zone" and mass starvation during the sieges of Beni Walid and Sirte, which were reminiscent of the Siege of Stalingrad.
Accurate history has yet to be written since Google, owners of YouTube, are withholding tens of thousands of videos containing evidence of the commission of Crimes Against Humanity in Libya, and will thus be the subject of future world people's conferences on crimes against humanity to bring to account those who aided and abetted as well as carried out those crimes.

In an effort to further discredit the Qadhafi family and erode support for it, the remaining family members are for the most part not only being held incommunicado, with others lying low while support builds up for the jamahiri resistance, but are having Israeli lawyers imposed upon them.
The General Secretary of the General People's Committee of the Great Socialist People's Libyan Arab Jamahiriya, Dr Baghdadi Mahmoudi, who has been held unlawfully and incommunicado as a political prisoner for over a year in spite of his position as head of state of the Libyan Jamahiriya, was also imposed a plethora of lawyers who fought among themselves, with some of them being appointed by him and others imposed by western intelligence agencies, as Mathaba sources reveal, having been approached.
The Israeli lawyer Mr Kaufman who allegedly acts for Saadi Qadhafi who is in exile in Niger, has spoken to western media about his high-level contacts within western governments and his attempts to lift the UN-imposed travel ban upon his alleged client. This publicity ensures naturally that there is no chance such a ban will be lifted, and both Niger and South Africa have denied his story.
Niger government spokesman Marou Amadou told media on Saturday that the issue of Qadhafi leaving had not been decided.
"We never made a decision like this and I have no idea where this lawyer came up with this," he said.
A South African government spokesman, Clayson Monyela, likewise denied that his country had received an asylum application from Saadi. "We don’t have such a request," he said.
The South African ambassador in Tripoli is unlawfully present since the regime in Libya is illegal. South Africa was a key player in selling out Africa to its colonial masters after pressure from the U.S. and "inducements". The South African "ambassador" and traitor to Africa and Islam who has yet to settle accounts, Mohammed Dangor, told British intelligence agents in Tripoli that "South Africa had in fact acted to ensure that Saadi’s request for the travel ban to be lifted was blocked."
Dangor told the agents that South Africa and Germany, both members of the UN Security Council, had raised objections to Kaufman's application, thus putting a block on it.
Without them removing what is in effect a veto, the block on Saadi Qadhafi's travel remains in place – whatever Niger decides.
Niger has consistently and honourably refused to extradite Qaddafi, citing concerns that if handed back to Libya, he would not receive a fair trial. Niger is home to the most honourable and upright Muslims in the world, along with the Tuareg of the Sahel-Sahara.

Libyan terrorists and islamist heretics to be released from Iraq
As part of a deal to supply the weakening occupation forces of Libya which are facing increased resistance and internal divisions, a number of islamist heretics and terrorists are being released by Iraq and sent back to Libya although they had been fighting against U.S. and Iraqi forces there.
Libya has already supplied entire battalions of terrorists, who had been returned to Libya from training camps abroad and in some cases detention, as well as dangerous criminals freed from Libyan Jamahiriya prisons, to Syria, where they have been unable to impose their zionist and western paymasters ambitions.
This in turn has weakened the limited control of the occupation government of Libya's regime.

Polls show they'll do it again. IVAD late August results show Chavez ahead 55% to 34%. Only 10% of Venezuelans are undecided.
Eight major July polls showed Chavez leading by 15 - 27%. Subsequent ones weeks later revealed his support remains strong. Few doubt October's outcome. At issue is only by how much. On December 16, regional elections follow.
In late August, Chavez warned that opposition forces plan to declare victory before electoral results are announced. They'll say they won, reject National Electoral Council (CNE) totals, and claim fraud.
They'll call for violence, destabilization and US help. "They are gearing up… with some allies in the world, some media, some social organizations to claim victory," said Chavez. "We know they are capable of anything."
Chavez is right. World globalist media networks including TV news bulletins around the world are preparing their viewers for this scenario. The U.S. and its banker masters are stretching for world-wide war.
They wish to remove the main bastion of resistance and support to national independence and socialism across Latin America: Venezuela. They've already done so removing Libya as an obstacle to their designs in Africa, while in Asia both Russia and China have abandoned socialism, as well as those who resisted imperialism in South East Asia now compromised or isolated.
Venezuela's popular President Hugo Chavez urged respect for official results, adding:
"We will support the National Electoral Council. We call on all sectors to respect the referee, the Constitution, the laws."
The opposition candiate Capriles' economic advisor, Ricardo Hausmann, said his campaign will announce its own results independently of official ones. This is already a clear sign that the same scenario may be used to overthrow the popular Venezuelan government as was done in the Ivory Coast in Africa.
With free health and food subsidies for Venezuela's poor, which make up the vast bulk of the population, it is inevitable the majority will vote for the popular socialist party led by Hugo Chavez. Even the United Nations data shows that poverty has been greatly alleviated under the government of Hugo Chavez.
Capriles is playing to the poor by claiming, in spite of his foreign backing and clear background and allegiances with the rich and their foreign paymasters, that he is even "further left" than Chavez and would do even more for the poor. He also claims that Venezuela should use its oil only for its own population and not for the mutually beneficial support of and solidarity with others.
Most of Latin America (South America) now is under popular socialist governments, thanks to the efforts of Hugo Chavez to shore up support for those candidates, as well as financing a powerful independent news media network, Telesur, which broadcasts in Spanish and has done more to ensure that the neo-colonial, imperialist plans of the U.S. regime fail in the region.
This in turn strengthens the chances of Venezuela's poor to continue their rise to power, education and wealth. Regional blocs have formed in cooperation, and the entire region has become a no-go area for foreign bases and militarist designs with few exceptions.
Ultimas Noticias editor Eleazar Diza Rangel said the U.S.-backed Capriles will "claim fraud (and won't) recognize the people's will."
Since Chavez took office in February 1999, 15 national and regional elections were held. Independent observers declared them open, free and fair. America's Carter Center calls Venezuela's electoral system one of the world's most reliable.
Around 200 or more international observers will monitor October 7 voting. Expect confirmation of another exemplary democratic process. It puts America's to shame and then some. US federal and many regional ones lack legitimacy. Big money controls them. Ordinary people have no say.
Venezuelans get the real thing. They're not about to accept pre-Chavez harshness. They want no part of corporatism at their expense.
The Venezuela Solidarity Campaign published a report saying a leaked internal right wing document revealed plans to roll back public services if elected.
It calls for reducing state funding. Health care, education, food subsidies, housing assistance, communal council projects, and other programs Venezuelans rely on will be affected.
The document titled "First Ideas for Economic Actions of the National Unity Government" calls for "concrete steps to decrease, in the medium and long term, the heavy load of goods and services" by slashing overall social spending.
Privatizations and neo-liberal harshness are planned. What Venezuelans rejected years ago they want reinstated. They plan presidential diktat authority to enforce it. They want to "dismantle the socialized and collectivized state model." Their plan replicates IMF financial terrorism.
It mandates mass lay-offs, deregulation, deep social spending cuts, wage freezes or cuts, corporate-friendly tax cuts, prioritizing the divine right of capital, crushing trade unionism, and harsh crackdowns against non-believers.
Ahead of October 7, destabilization began. Expect more. Washington's dirty hands bear full responsibility. Chavez is relentlessly targeted. Bush policy was vicious. Obama promised better but lied.
He wants corporatism replacing Bolivarianism. He failed but won't stop trying. Chavez knows the stakes and what he faces. Hegemons demand unchallenged dominance. No holds barred tactics go all out.
Weeks ahead of October 7, a suspicious oil refinery fire occurred. A gas explosion ignited it pre-dawn. An immediate investigation was launched. Venezuela's Amuay facilitity was hit.
It's the nation's largest. It's part of state owned PDVSA's Paraguana Refining Complex (PRC). It produces 645,000 barrels of oil per day. Extensive damage halted production. Vital revenues were lost. Reports said operational areas weren't affected.
Chavez could have claimed foreign terrorism responsible, he did not, instead a full investigation has been launched, with no pronouncements being made on what was the cause until the results of the investigation are all in. Capriles on the other hand has spoken out constantly, using the time ahead of elections to accuse official neglect to be the cause, calling for resignations.
On August 31, production resumed. PRC head Jesus Luongo said strong winds complicated fire-fighting. PRC vice president Asdrubal Chavez said shipments resumed on September 2.
He also explained that contingency plans were implemented during down time. Regular distribution continued. "If the whole network of refineries were stopped," he added, "we'd be able to supply fuel for more than 10 days."
The incident took 48 lives. Plant workers and National Guard forces died. Over 100 others were injured. Hundreds of homes and businesses were destroyed or damaged.
It's one of Venezuela's deadliest incidents. Earlier Tacoa and Las Tejerias refinery accidents killed 260 and 48 respectively. Around 160 died from a Ricardo Zuluaga electric power plant explosion.
Amuay's fire burned for days and spread. Damage caused was extensive. Chavez declared three days of mourning, saying:
"At this time of great pain, and from the bottom of my soldier's heart, may you and all of our comrades in arms from the National Bolivarian Guard receive a huge embrace in solidarity for the painful loss of such brave lives in the tragedy in Amuay."
"As the Son of Bolivar that I am, today my mourning is the same mourning as that of the entire country."
Following the incident, opposition forces and media scoundrels accused authorities of "gross negligence," "under-investment," and poor maintenance.
Chavez called it "very regrettable if some Venezuelans tried to use the pain of the victims to take advantage of the situation" and use it for political advantage.
"I know who is saying this," he said, "but I will not stoop to their level." Energy Minister Rafael Ramirez said the plant received around $4.3 billion in 2012.
At the time of the explosion, reports said government web sites were hacked. Twitter accounts were also taken over and used to spread disinformation about a coup being under-way, for days before Twitter restored their correct ownership.
Corporate-owned Globovision broadcast exclusive footage of the explosion. Someone unnamed was positioned outside the plant at 2AM to film it. Suspicions followed that Amuay was no accident.
On September 3, Press TV headlined "Sabotage more probably than mishap in Venezuela refinery blast," saying:
Responding to spurious charges of government negligence and other accusations, Chavez said:
"You can’t exclude any hypothesis….It’s practically impossible that here in an installation like this which is fully automated everywhere and that has thousands of responsible workers night and day, civilian and military, and that there is a gas leak for 3 or 4 days and nobody responds. This is impossible."
On September 6, Press TV headlined "US-backed opposition devises plots to destabilize Venezuela," saying:
Chavez supporters accused them of spreading fear and terror ahead of October's election. Amuay's incident was Exhibit A. Political activist Hindu Anderi said:
"Our principal is to always be mobilized, to be on alert against anyone attempting to sabotage the election on October 7."
"They will do this to create an environment in which Venezuela will be looked upon as an outlaw state."
"This will make it easier for military intervention or at least sanctions against Venezuela."
He and others accused Washington of plotting against Chavez, his allies and Bolivarianism. Chavez said America and opposition forces want his government destabilized.
On August 28, he showed how Bolivarianism differs from neoliberal harshness. He allocated millions of aid dollars for victims and family members.
Spouses of victims got lifetime pensions. Their children get educational scholarships. Damaged and destroyed properties will be rebuilt. Interim housing was provided. One victim said state help came quickly. No one needing it is excluded.
Chavez congratulated everyone who pitched in to help. "The spirit of patriotism, national unity, and the battle for life is being financed," he said.
Vice minister Hugo Carvajal of Venezuela's Integrated System of Crime Investigation said:
"The Bolivarian government has organized a multidisciplinary team of the best disaster investigators of the Investigation Division of Disasters of the CICPC and the Board of the Technical Scientific and Investigation Consultancy of the Attorney General’s office to work out the precise actions that lead to the fire."
Evidence is being examined. Satellite and ground photos were taken. Witnesses were questioned. Information is being carefully analyzed. Findings will be released once available.
Industrial accidents aren't uncommon. Amuay's timing and extensive damage raised suspicious red flags. Latin American expert James Petras agrees.
The incident, he believes, "was an act of sabotage, planned and executed by a clandestine group of terrorist specialists acting on behalf of the US government." Convincing arguments back this reasoning.
Cui bono is most obvious. Washington, Capriles, and corporate fascists hoped to benefit. They planned taking full advantage. Chavez was blamed. Venezuelans hear it ad nauseam. It wore thin long ago.
Nonetheless, dark forces never quit. Washington funds opposition forces. It's gone on throughout Chavez's tenure. CIA operatives infest the country. All independent governments are targeted. Chavez is Latin America's prime target. Its oil riches alone explain why.
Several times he said Washington wants him assassinated. Regional US bases threaten him. He's a marked man. He's also resilient.
He's not about to let threats roll him over. He pulls no punches. He condemns imperial US policies. Few anywhere match his outspokenness. Most Venezuelans support him for good reason.
Re-election next month looks certain. Imagine if America had leadership like his. He doesn't seek regional or global hegemony. He endorses peace, not war. He engages other nations cooperatively. He seeks unity and world solidarity. He heads the kind of democracy Americans can't even imagine.
His policies are socially progressive. State resources provide vital services. He champions civil and human rights. Ordinary Venezuelans are helped, not denied or persecuted.
No secret prisons exist. He doesn't target neighbors or practice torture. His elections are judged open, free and fair. Last week, an indigenous organization said it had received reports of a mass killing in a remote jungle village. Chavez said his government still hasn't found evidence of any killings in Yanomami Indian communities in the Amazon.
Nicia Maldonado, the minister for indigenous peoples, said later on state radio that officials who travelled to the area last week had on Wednesday reached the community of Irotatheri where the massacre reportedly happened. She said the team didn't find any signs of bloodshed.
Leaders of the Horonami Yanomami Organization, a community group that released the original report, couldn't be reached for comment. In other words, it was all yet another lie for the ongoing media campaign through which Washington and its capitalist allies are attempting to remove the socialist government from power.
If they fail to do so at the ballot box, they'll declare victory and create a civil war and call for U.S. intervention. It's been done before. They'll do it again. This time however, the world must stand with Hugo Chavez and against U.S. terrorism and conspiracies.
After a year of battling cancer, Chavez has said he's now better and has assured Venezuelans that physical limitations stemming from his recovery will not affect his re-election campaign. On Wednesday, he said his last medical exam in June found him in good shape. "I feel very good, even better. Because there are some who are throwing dirt and saying Chavez can't make it — he's falling, he's dying," the president said. "They're playing with this, but it's not going to happen. We're going to have a massive victory."
The contrast with Washington is stark. Leadership in both countries is mirror opposite. Venezuelans have choice when they vote. Americans get two sides of the same coin. It's corrupted, dysfunctional, tyrannical, and too broken to fix. Bolivarianism shames it.
Not because of military or defensive objectives, but to terrorize Syria's population, undermine the government politically, and paralyze civilian infrastructure. This unconscionable act of blatant terrorism will have no impact on Syria's security operations and is yet another demonstration of the absolute illegitimacy of both the so-called "Free Syrian Army" and their Western sponsors.
September 1, 2012 - Syria has over 15 military airbases, including dedicated airbases located near Aleppo and Damascus. These airbases are generally surrounded by networks of military infrastructure including storage depots, barracks, motor pools, and defensive positions. So much as even denting these facilities would require a standing enemy army, airpower, and armor - something the terrorists operating in Syria with NATO backing currently lack. Even a successful, concentrated attack on a single airbase would make little difference tilting the balance of power in favor of NATO-backed foreign terrorists operating under the banner of the so-called "Free Syrian Army" (FSA).

Puzzling then was an announcement made by NATO terrorists, warning that in 72 hours, starting September 1, 2012, they would begin operations to target Syria's two international airports, Damascus International, and Aleppo International. The Telegraph would report that NATO's terrorist front, "warned it would target civilian planes using the airports in Damascus and Aleppo from tomorrow." The Telegraph would also claim, "it [the FSA] suspected government was using the flights to bring in weapons." Like all of NATO terrorist claims, no evidence has been provided by either the militants, or the Western press.

The Telegraph has just reported that terrorists are planning to shoot at civilian planes and paralyze civilian flights across the country - a terrorist act by any definition or law.

RT has also reported in their article, "Syrian rebels give airlines '72-hour warning' before they plan to seize civilian airports," that terrorists, "gave a 72-hour advance warning to airlines to suspend flights to Syria before the rebels try to seize civilian airports in Damascus and Aleppo. They claim the Syrian Air Force is using them 'illegally.'" RT also noted that, "international law prohibits attacks on civilian airports, whether during internal conflicts or wars between states."
Indeed, even corporate-financier funded faux-NGOs like Human Rights Watch (HRW) note that attacking civilian infrastructure, such as an airport can only be done if achieving a military objective outweighs the impact on civilians. HRW says specifically: Civil airports, roads and bridges are civilian objects that become military objectives subject to attack if they are actually used for military purposes or military objectives are located on or within them. Even then, the rule of proportionality applies, requiring the parties to the conflict to weigh the short- and long-term harm on civilians against the military advantage served; they must consider all ways of minimizing the impact on civilians; and they should not undertake attacks if the expected civilian harm outweighs the definite military advantage. Clearly, if the Syrian Air Force has 15 bases in addition to whatever they may or may not be using its two international airports for, terrorist attacks on its two main civilian airports in no way achieve military objectives proportional to the adverse impact such attacks will have on Syria's civilian population.
A Blatant Terroristic Threat.
Instead, the two airports have been picked to maximize terror against both the Syrian people and government forces, as well as undermine Syria politically on the international stage. In other words, they are craven acts of terrorism designed to achieve a political, not military objective - to attack, not defend Syria's civilian population. And it will be craven terrorist attacks carried out with funding, arms, and logistical support provided by the US, UK, Israel, NATO-member Turkey, and the Gulf State despots of Saudi Arabia and Qatar.
The attacks will have absolutely no impact on Syrian security operations, and will instead simply paralyze civilian infrastructure and inevitably cost civilian lives. It will serve to panic the Syrian people, thus creating yet more refugees with which NATO will then claim demands foreign military intervention in the form of long sought-after "safe havens." Essentially, NATO is purposefully encouraging an atmosphere of terror and panic, then using the resulting refugees and humanitarian crisis as political bargaining chips.
The silence of the UN in the face of this bold declaration of terroristic intent, as well as its utter indifference toward US, NATO, GCC, and Israeli sponsorship of terrorism and purposeful creation of humanitarian catastrophe, further undermines both the organization itself and the primacy of "international law" it is charged with maintaining.

Because one does not exist in Benghazi, it will throw you to an alternative location near you. Here is the Wikipedia list, no doubt soon to be faked, it will happen fast here. Won't last long and if any fakes get thrown in, well, there are TONS of lists out there, and I will just snag another. They can't bury this lie.
No wonder the Libyans are pissed! Is ANY of this real? Are there ANY embassy raids or riots happening ANYWHERE? This begs the question, WHERE did the pictures and video come from? Answer. The U.S. and Israel are so guilty of so many war crimes that this type of footage is commonplace in archives. Since the consulate does not exist, they can put up any picture of any building they want and call it that, and no one is going to say "that is not what it looks like".

This article has withstood the scrutiny of several people on the forum who worked through the night to protect the credibility of this web site (and I thank them). One of them pointed out THIS ARTICLE, which speaks of the reopening of the U.S. embassy in Tripoli on August 27, which had to be rebuilt new after the war. Don't let this confuse you, there is no Benghazi embassy, consulate, or diplomatic mission too new to be in any record.

On top of this, the various news agencies can't even get the location of the consulate straight, proof of a bullshit story.
Since the consulate is a fiction, both pictures will do because NO ONE is going to be able to check up on the story anyway. Last I heard, the State Department is no longer answering questions with regard to the embassy, probably because people can't figure out where it really is.
Article dated 6-6-2012 speaks of a "Benghazi embassy", which in the current wag is being called a "consulate" or "mission".
One of the forum members found what may have been a toe dip propaganda piece dated 6-6 2012, where a story of a bombing against this "benghazi embassy" was floated to see if anyone would call the media on it's bullshit. There was no significant coverage of this topic on ANY American news outlet, which I believe is fishy. If you were going to do a test run for a fictitious embassy, it would be best to do it in a limited way. My guess is they floated this story ahead of time to see if it would hold up before using this fictitious embassy for a major propaganda run in the U.S. and I simply do not believe CNNNBCABCFOXASS would not have been ALL OVER such a bombing. No comments from the President? Yeah right! Let's see a photo of this "Benghazi embassy" dated prior to Sep11. Even these articles dated June 6 do not have that, nor have we found any pictures anywhere else.
And if this "Benghazi embassy" was around 4 months ago, how long before that did it exist? Why are they calling it an "embassy" in this article, and a consulate/mission in the current rip? How long would it take the state department, Wikipedia, and all other web sites, including ones that update daily, to show this "mission?" Is (a minimum) of four months enough? Oh, I know, it was run by OSAMA BIN LADEN, and therefore was not a favorite, and he is crazy, which is why it has been called a CONSULATE, an EMBASSY, and a "DIPLOMATIC MISSION" in the various reports, three representations so different that they are not the same thing at all! The attacks on the U.S. embassies are virtually assured to be Mossad operations
Israel has a long history of staging false flag events. Don't be fooled, there are NOT riots all over the Arab world simply because of a stupid movie insulting Mohammed. The Muslims deal with that all the time and are not so thin skinned. It's a virtual certainty Israel is banking on Americans being stupid enough to fall for it, and to fall for it WOULD be stupid because: The first embassy attack came on 911, which is an Israeli terror holiday, and a day of dread for Muslims. It also is embedded in the American psyche, and there really are a lot of "chicken brains" out there who might fall for such a coincidence.
In addition to this, Canada suddenly shuttered it's Iranian embassy in a very childish and abrupt way, with no provocation to justify it. Look for a false flag in Canada once Israel is done having fun in the Arab world, to turn public opinion against Iran. As it is, many Americans are unable to discern the difference between Iran and Bahrain, or any other Islamic nation. I'd bet a $50 that over half of the war mongering crowd could not find Iran on a globe.
Then there was the idiotic Hezbollah bust at the Mexican border, COME ON NOW, THAT was stupid! The only thing Hezbollah would be able to get through the Mexican desert would be an old duffel bag on a retired Honda three wheeler. Yesterday a report came out of Israel that they had MASSIVELY mobilized their military. And WAY TOO SOON for any "you insulted Mohammed" riots to cause it. All this stuff is coinciding around a singularity in time, a singularity which has Israel at it's center as a probable culprit. And the outlook is not so good. Here is the report out of Israel, which will be followed with my final comments.
"My brother and his family live in Jerusalem - he is a minister - his office is close to one of Israel 's largest underground military bases.
He called me last night which is very unusual - usually it is email.
He called to tell me that he is sending his family back to the US immediately due to what he is seeing happen within the last week and what he is being told by his military contacts in both the Israel and US military.
He said he is seeing with his own eyes military movements the likes of which he has never seen in his 20+ years in Israel .
What he called a massive redeployment and protective tactics of forces is underway.
Over the last two days he has seen anti-aircraft missile deployments throughout the Jerusalem area including 3 mobile units that he can see from his office windows.
In addition, he has seen very large Israeli armored columns moving fast toward the Sinia where Egypt has now moved in Armor.
There are reports of the top military leaders meeting with Israel 's Sr. Rabi which is something that has happened preceding every prior military campaign.
His admonition is to watch carefully and pray for Israel and its people.
He is convinced that barring something extraordinary Israel will attack Iran - with or without the US - and very soon.
It is the belief in Israel that Obama does not stand with Israel but with the Arab countries.
He has told me before that Israel will saber rattle from time to time but that this time is very different from what he is seeing and hearing.
He was at the Wailing Wall 2 days ago and there were hundreds of IDF soldiers there. As he was leaving he passed at least 20 military buses full of soldiers in route to the wall.
He has never seen this before either."
My comments
Israel is a nation that won't stick it's neck out when it could get it's head cut off. Iran could easily do that. So expect Israel to use their nuclear weapons as an opening volley, and to do it in a despicable way that levels Iran. Don't be surprised by a death toll over 10 million if Israel goes ahead with this. Israel will NOT target only Iran's nuclear facilities, Israel will attempt to smash Iran in it's entirety, and absolutely will if they believe that a sneak nuclear attack would prevent a single Jewish death. Iran has tens of thousands of missiles capable of reaching Israel, and prior to all of Israel and America's game playing in Syria, there were additional tens of thousands more there. With Syria neutralized, Israel is now free to go in and destroy Iran, and America has already previously stated and agreed that if Iran does even ONE thing to Israel to defend itself, America will step in and smash Iran on Israel's behalf.
In conjunction with this attack, expect Israel to cut the sub sea internet cable that connects Iran to the outside world, so the atrocities will be slow to be revealed, that is IF they are EVER revealed.
The following is not intended to be understood by most readers
There is a way to know if nukes were used, cut cable or not. I suggest now is a good time for anyone who has a storage scope to set it up to capture the EMP signature of any nuclear weapons in use. The EMP signature has nothing to do with the seismic signature. To capture an EMP signature, just go to the hardware store and buy a spool of Romex electrical wire, leave it in a coil, and hook ONE end of One of the conductors in it up to the scope input, and the other end of the SAME conductor to ground. Set the scope up for event capture, and if you have a multi channel scope, set one channel to capture an event that is at 10 mhz, and will be 8 cycles in length, another channel for the same at 1 mhz, and another channel at 100 khz, if available. Romex has 3 conductors. EMP's vary. So that will cover all possible ranges the emp from a nuke could show up at.
Of course, you will need to put a coil with at least a few millihenries of inductance on the ground side, and perhaps a 1 nanofarad capacitor at the scope input, and that type of setup will want to pick up all types of environmental noise but if you play with it to reduce the noise or build any sort of circuit to tune out the noise it ought to work. If you are the type that would have that sort of test equipment you should be able to come up with something that will work with whatever situation you have. Obviously, if you want to capture the higher frequency, a smaller coil would be used. I am suggesting a coil to mitigate the need for an enormous antenna.
Unfortunately I can't tell you how strong a signal is going to be, so guess. If you scope has headroom, use it. You stand NO chance of blowing up a scope using it this way because scopes are robust and Iran for most people is on the other side of the world and the signal is likely to be very weak. It will appear as a sinewave that starts with a peak, tapers to a lower peak on the next cycle, a lower peak on the next cycle, down to extinction right around cycle 8. Look at the wave on the front of a Dorito's bag. That is the stylized EMP from the Sumatra nuke. I never got down to the details on that one with this site, but that wave shape on the front of a doritos bag is in fact a nuclear EMP waveform that has been italicized, and it is the one that India published for the boxing day tsunami.

Of course, this has been stylized, this wave form will be oriented straight up and down on your scope and not leaning, and not italicized. I guess the joke is "atomic crunch". This became the Dorito's logo approximately five months after the boxing day tsunami. This came in at around 10 MHZ because the nuke was detonated under water. Most likely this joke was pulled at a lower level and the upper management is unaware. The "elite" get a laugh out of putting their crimes in plain sight.
Hopefully if people set up their scopes to capture this, Israel will not dare because if enough people capture this it will not stay hidden, and secrecy for these people is 95 percent of victory. There are a gazillion storage scopes out there, unlike seismographs which are easy to control and censor on account of scarcity. Absent Romex, even a coil of speaker wire will probably do, any coil of wire with an inductance low enough to not block a 10 mhz signal or one of the lower frequencies (I would suggest setting it up for 1 mhz if your scope only has 1 channel) and it will be hit and miss results because there is no way to know the specifics of a nuclear EMP, and if you don't know which bomb and how it will be detonated (air burst, surface burst, sub surface burst) it will take a bit of luck to capture it. Air bursts are asymmetrical if close to the ground, and sub surface bursts tend to be symmetrical and at a higher frequency because the EMP will be shaped by it's environment and a confined environment will push the frequency up. I could go into the why aspect but I don't want to write a book right now and if what I have written here is not clear to you, ignore it, this is meant to be understood by a fraction of one percent of the people out there, which will hopefully be enough to deter Israel from doing it.
